Missions

Hollies Baptist Church is a Member of the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia.

Our Church Family is Dedicated to Mission Projects Here on the Eastern Shore of Virginia & Around the World.

Accomack/Northampton Pregnancy & Parenting Resource:  Every life is precious to God and life begins at the moment of conception.  ANPC offers loving help, cost free pregnancy tests, ultrasound, pregnancy options, guidance & supplies for expectant parents.

Operation Christmas Child:  We are serious about this Ministry through Samaritan’s Purse to children around the world.  It’s an “all year” thing for us so we’re ready in November with a bunch of boxes filled with school supplies, toiletries, toys and the story of Jesus.

Lighthouse Ministries:   This is a non-profit organization the helps out families in need with temporary housing. Also, for those that have a substance abuse problem, they can help you get into a program that can work for you.  They have two thrift stores as well to help out the community.  They also help with emergency needs.  They really care about the community.

Impact Hunger:  Each month we provide food basics to about 30 people on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.  Food is a primary need for everyone.  We are so Blessed.  No one should be left hungry in our community!

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering:  She was a Southern Baptist Missionary from Virginia well over 100 years ago that spent 40 years serving in China.  She ultimately died from starvation after giving her own food to feed the starving people she served.   She had written repeatedly pleading for support.  After her death this missionary fund was established to care for Southern Baptist Missionaries around the world.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering:  In the 1800’s, when women were not supposed to be leaders.  Annie Armstrong established the Woman’s Missionary Union that support North American Missionaries.  Every dollar goes to support Missions in North America and Canada.
